Dreams have had many different meanings to the various cultures of our collective history.
Some history of dream interpretation dates back to 3000-4000 BC, but it's quite possible that
as long as humans could communicate with language they were sharing their dreams. The descriptions
range from being shrugged off as meaningless random pulses of the brain (neural network twitching
to aid in recovery), to being messages from higher beings. Dream Snare considers at least some of
our dreams to originate from our own unconscious desires. In this way even if dreams are
a cognitive reset for the
brain, the imagery and story woven from our subconscious gives us a window into our deeper
thoughts.
